In August, TQL Freight Finder Version 2.0 was made available for download from the Apple App Store for the Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, and from the Android Market for the Android. We received helpful feedback from our carriers about the initial app after its launch in February 2011, and as a result have added new enhanced features. This updated version has replaced the first on all download sites.

TQL recently completed our annual Carrier Survey. Thank you to all who responded for taking the time to share your thoughts with us about our service. Eighty-seven percent of you indicated that you would recommend TQL to other transportation companies. While we appreciate that vote of confidence, we are never satisfied, and want to continue to improve our service to you in any way we can. In the below video, TQL Carrier Project Manager, Eric Olson, as he addresses some specific points raised frequently in some responses and discusses how we plan to address these concerns going forward:

On February 9^th, we proudly launched our new mobile phone application, TQL Freight Finder. TQL Freight Finder is the first freight-finding mobile phone app offered by a brokerage company and was designed in an effort to more easily connect our carriers to the loads we offer.

TQL Freight Finder is a free downloadable app that was developed for the Android, iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. It can be found at the Android Market or the Apple App Store and allows owner/operators and carriers to search for available loads by mileage radius, equipment type, load date, and destination city/state. It also provides the user with the capability to search for available loads according to their Smartphone GPS locator's current location.

Search results are returned based on entered criteria and include load details for each available load. Results include a touch screen button that directly connects users with a TQL Logistics Account Executive who can discuss specific load details.
